What should I do if I don't know what size to order?
We highly recommend measuring with a flexible tape measure to find your most accurate size. If you follow our interactive size guide with those measurements, you will get the closest recommendation for you. When should I buy my bras?
You will want to have at least 2 nursing/pumping bras in your hospital bag, so you will want to buy some early during pregnancy. We recommend waiting until 2nd trimester and making sure you do not size down. Most moms will grow 1-2 cup sizes when breastfeeding, so please make sure to allow for growth! Once you are postpartum, we suggest measuring again to see if your sizing has changed before adding more to your collection!
What style do you recommend starting with?
We always suggest our new moms start out with 1 Amelia Cami or tank and a pair of Mia boxers during pregnancy! These are the most universal styles that you will find comfortable and useful for all phases of motherhood. The Paisley liner is a great addition to your hospital bag as well. Once postpartum, we love to recommend the Ella Bralette for a beautiful nursing bra option that you will want to wear even beyond your breastfeeding journey!
What is the best way to wash my bras?
We want your bras to last you a long time, so we include mesh lingerie bags with each bra for you to use when machine washing. The mesh bag will protect the fabric and hardware from damage in the wash. We strongly recommend following the care instructions on the tag. Machine wash cold with like colours and lay flat to dry, or hand wash. Please do not use the dryer on your Davin & Adley bras. The heat may damage the lace and hardware.
